Life happens, cake helps

BobBakes began on 21st May 2025 with a simple idea: to make desserts that people would genuinely fall in love with.

What followed was a lot more than just baking.

It was countless hours in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes, getting things wrong, starting over, and staying up until 5 in the morning trying to get that one recipe just right. Every ingredient, every texture, every little detail had to be worth it. There was no shortcut to getting better — just patience, practice, and a whole lot of determination.

Slowly, the experiments turned into recipes we were proud of. The recipes turned into cakes we couldn't wait for people to try. And those cakes became something bigger than we first imagined.

From our signature chocolate cakes and birthday bakes to engagement cakes made for once-in-a-lifetime moments, and even plum cakes made with fruit soaked in rum for an entire year, BobBakes has grown one creation at a time.

Every order has taught us something. Every recipe has pushed us to do better. And every person who has welcomed our desserts into their celebrations has been part of this journey.

We're still learning, still experimenting, and still chasing that feeling of knowing we've made something truly great. Because for us, baking has never been just about putting a cake together. It's about creating something worth remembering, sharing, and coming back for.
